In 2006 Mitsui Fudosan UK secured a development partner, acquiring a 15% stake in Stanhope plc. Stanhope is an ideal partner for us as they have considerable experience and an outstanding track record in sourcing and delivering development projects in London, and also share our commitment to quality and innovation.
Stanhope has over 20 years' experience as a developer and development manager, and has been responsible for the delivery of more than 15 million sq ft of commercial space in Central London and the South East.
Our partnership allows Stanhope to maintain and enhance its position as an independent and entrepreneurial developer, while our combination of skills and capital will enable us to pursue new ventures together and develop our businesses further.
Mitsui Fudosan UK is currently actively working with Stanhope to secure and deliver prime development projects in Central London, and has also commited venture capital funds for Stanhope to identify and realise development opportunities.
