Having gained an MSc in Architecture from Kyoto University in 1994, Koji Tanaka spent 14 years at Shimizu Corporation where he was involved in building project and site management across the globe, managing major projects in Japan, Singapore, Europe and the Middle East before joining the Mitsui Fudosan UK team in April 2008 to take on the role of development and property manager.
Koji's specialism is development, construction and design, supported by substantial experience in project management, budgeting and procurement strategy and legal transactions as well as planning and environmental research. He has been a Chartered Architect and Building Engineer (Japan) since 2000 and is currently studying for a Bachelor of Law at the University of London.
A keen tennis player, Koji has a passion for travel and enjoys playing chess. He also holds a brown belt in judo.
